CLAREVILLE BEACH RESERVE

Public BBQ

This sheltered bay beach on Pittwater offers calm, flat water ideal for swimming and stand-up paddleboarding. The sandy shore has a gentle slope with shallow water, making it excellent for young children. Water temperature stays warm through late December. A grassy strip runs along the beach with large shade trees and picnic benches. The area includes barbecue facilities, toilets, and showers. The setting feels quite secluded despite being accessible, with natural bushland surrounding the bay. Moored boats dot the water, though some swimmers avoid the area because of vessel traffic. The non-surf conditions and sheltered position make it popular for afternoon picnics and sunset viewing. Dogs are permitted. Parking can be challenging with limited spaces and chaotic traffic flow through the area.
